Who we are

Bella Figura is run by Francesco Rubino, a sole trader (ditta individuale) based in Italy (VAT no. IT04448320715, Via San Francesco 15, 71043 Manfredonia (FG), Italia), who is the data controller for your personal data. For anything about your data, write to privacy@getbellafigura.com.

What this site does today

Bella Figura is not on sale yet. Right now this website shows what the product will be and lets you join a waitlist. There are no accounts, no payments and no sales, so none of that data exists.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist, we store:

  • Your email address
  • The language of the page you were on
  • The price variant you were shown (A or B), the currency, and the launch price shown to you, which our server works out from the variant, the currency and the page language
  • The date and time you gave your consent

We do not ask for your name, and we do not store your IP address with your waitlist entry.

Like any website, the hosting service handles technical data for every request, such as your IP address, the time and the page requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Why we use your data, and on what legal basis

  • Waitlist: to email you once, when Bella Figura launches, with the founders' discount. This rests on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box before you send your email.
  • Statistics: to count how many people visit, press Buy and join the waitlist, so we can improve the page and the price. This rests on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f)). The statistics never contain your email address. You can object at any time (see "Your rights").
  • Security: the hosting provider's technical logs keep the site safe and working. This rests on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We use your email for nothing else: no newsletter, no sharing with other companies, no profiling.

Statistics

We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to see how the page performs. It is set up without cookies: it keeps nothing on your device, does not record your screen or your sessions, and does not track what you click except for these five events: page viewed, Buy pressed, waitlist opened, waitlist joined and waitlist error.

Each event carries the price variant (A or B), the page language and the currency, plus which Buy button was pressed or what kind of error occurred. PostHog also collects basic technical details with every request: the page address, the referring page, your browser and device type, screen size, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. An event never carries your email address, and we do not link these statistics to your waitlist entry.

As with any request to a server, PostHog receives your IP address. We do not use it to identify you.

What stays on your device

There are no cookies. The site saves one small item in your browser's local storage, called bf_price_variant. It holds a single letter, A or B, so that you see the same price every time you come back. The same letter is also included in the statistics events described above, so we can compare how the two prices perform. The copy stored in your browser is not linked to your email address and is not shared with anyone else; the variant you were shown is recorded with your waitlist entry, as described above. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Who helps us run Bella Figura

We share the minimum data needed with these providers, who process it on our behalf:

  • Supabase: stores the waitlist entries, in the European Union
  • Netlify: delivers the website (global network)
  • PostHog: anonymous statistics (European Union)

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

International transfers

Our waitlist data and our statistics are stored in the EU. Some of our providers are companies based outside the EU/EEA, or serve the site from servers around the world. Where data leaves the EU/EEA, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until 12 months after Bella Figura launches, or until you withdraw your consent, whichever comes first. Then we delete it. Statistics events contain no email address and are kept only as long as we need them to judge the launch. Technical logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited time only.

Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what happened before. To leave the waitlist and have your entry deleted, write to privacy@getbellafigura.com from the address you signed up with. We reply within one month.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or the authority where you live.

Age

Bella Figura is for people aged 16 and over. Please do not join the waitlist if you are younger.

Security

Data travels over HTTPS, and waitlist entries are stored with the access controls of our database provider.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data in a way that matters (for example when Bella Figura launches and accounts or payments arrive), we will update this page and ask for your consent again where the law requires it. The date at the top shows the latest version.
